Int 393 Senior Interdisciplinary Seminar (3) Christian Stewardship and Global Issues

Ozone depletion, environmental degradation, overpopulation, famine, species extinction....We live in a time unlike any other in history. Humanity is on the threshold of shutting down the life support systems of the planet. Some would suggest that there remains open to us a small window of time in which we can act to stave off planetary catastrophe. What should be the Christian communities response to such dire predictions? Do we have a unique and critical role to play or is it perhaps already too late?

Int 391 Senior Interdisciplinary Seminar (3) Current Environmental Issues

This senior seminar will focus on some of the current issues pertaining to the environment, with a view to understanding some of the causes, effects, social implications and possible solutions to problems such as contamination of our waters, pollution of the atmosphere, species extinction, waste disposal and resource depletion.
