Administrative / Accomplishments:
Establishment of and Directorship of the Christian Environmental Studies Center @ Montreat College
Establishment of and Directorship of the Consortium for Environmental Curriculum Development and Research
Establishment of and Directorship of the Appalachian College Association Science Group for the Teaching and Technology - recruitment of faculty collaborative project grant awards (co-author or grant development consultant) of greater than $400,000 and monies to host semester workshops for the Science Group for six years, all of which brought monies to our program at Montreat College
Coordinated donations of instrumentation and Computers from Glaxo Welcome, GE, BASF, REVCO, and Texas Christian University for the ES / Biology laboratories that includes numerous research grade analytical instruments with a used value at donation, of over $300,000.
Serve as Development Coordinator between Montreat Campus and large funding collaboratives, such as the ACA-led TIAPP grant through the U.S. Department of Commence for a technology development program to bring key monies and recognition to our campus that lead to larger national funding for Montreat College.
Lead team responsible for the Design and accreditation of Montreat College's Environmental Studies Program upon its start-up which received a commendation upon review by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
